Challenges in healthcare are very demanding. With an increased understanding of the complexity of biological systems, the portfolio of tools and methods to engineer biological systems has grown. To spearhead this translational medicine revolution, ETH Zurich and Roche joined forces and provide one of the best learning and research environments in academia and the pharmaceutical industry for scientists in a joint doctoral or postdoctoral programme.
