Application

The doctoral fellowship is a fully funded grant awarded to an individual researcher for the duration of the respective research project. The application procedure is highly competitive and the applicant must prove a high-quality track record of skills and achievements.

Eligibility

Talented and highly motivated young scientists holding a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in the fields of biological or biomedical sciences, computer science, engineering and related disciplines are eligible for this doctoral programme.

Duration and funding

In general, research projects have a duration of 4 to 5 years. The doctoral fellowship is a fully funded grant awarded to an individual researcher for the duration of the respective research project.
