Mission and Setup

ETH Zurich's Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) and Roche Pharma Research and Early Development created the Bio-Engineering Systems for Therapeutics (BEST) postdoctoral programme to attract the world’s best junior researchers who will address the next generation of translational models and therapies in a collaborative manner and at an internationally leading level. At both the campuses of Roche and ETH Zurich in Basel, the objective of this application-oriented programme around appealing and highly challenging R&D research projects is to develop new tools and methods needed to address existing and future pertinent problems in biosystems engineering for medical translation and the development of potential therapeutics.
